Molitva is a composition for voice, live electronics, and gestural control using the Pointing-at glove. The main musical theme revisits traditional Macedonian chants, reinterpreted through the integration of electronic soundscapes.
The performance explores the use of the Pointing-at data glove in a live setting involving multiple performers. To strengthen the perceptual link between gesture and sound, each performer was assigned a specific range of sonic characteristics. The glove was dedicated exclusively to the manipulation of granular sounds, allowing real-time control through hand gestures. This approach emphasized the expressive potential of gestural interaction in shaping the electronic sound layer.
